Coyne Wants Timberlake for New Film
Wayne Coyne has begun work on a new film, which according to the Flaming Lips frontman, is decidedly less bizarre than his recently released Christmas on Mars, a project which took seven years to film and produce.
Meanwhile, the setting of the new film takes place not on a distant alien landscape, but in a local slaughterhouse. Coyne also revealed one unusual desire for the project- to have pop superstar Justin Timberlake feature in the movie.
Speaking to Billboard, Coyne revealed that his latest film will aim to recruit some serious actors and professionals.
"I'm gonna try to get real actors, too,” Coyne said, “celebrities to show up and have fun with us for a couple of nights. I’m in the process of begging Justin Timberlake to be part of it; if I’m lucky I’ll be able to wear him down in another year.”
